Who we are
Our mission at Cards2College, is to help positively impact the mental health of college students through weekly encouraging cards and care packages.
Our small, mom-run business is based in Erie, Colorado. With two successful college graduates, one currently in college and 3 more to go, our small business has the experience and insight into the needs of current college students. Each of our cards has been created to serve as a weekly opportunity to encourage your student. The products in our care packages have been tested, selected and packaged with love.

Family Legacy
It All Started When...
M. Charlotte & Michael Mike Sr. were an amazing couple I am honored to call my grandparents! My grandfather, who started his own business in 1947, always believed in higher education & put many family members through college! He was always the wind beneath our wings.
Over thirty years ago, my grandmother started writing weekly letters to her grandchildren away at college to keep them ‘in the know’ with family happenings & motivated to ‘stay the college course’ as she knew how challenging being away from home was for them. I looked forward to my weekly letter in my college campus mailboxes. My grandmother wrote weekly letters for over 15 years. In October of 2021, at 93 years old, my grandmother passed away, leaving behind an amazing legacy. She will forever be missed.
In August 2019, Cards2College was a long-awaited idea that finally came to fruition. The goal is to help parents bring weekly encouragement to their college students.

Melissa is a wife and mother to 6, who knows how hard it can be to find time to connect with kids away at college. “It’s a critical time for the young adults of today who desperately need support to face the many challenges that college life brings.” Melissa created an easy way to consistently stay connected with kids away at college – no longer at home, but never alone.
